Satsang is a Sanskrit word that combines “sat” – which means “truth” – and “sang” – which means “encounter”. So, Satsang is the encounter with the Truth. It is a word widely used in the religious traditions of India as a reference to being close to a Satguru, or to an “Enlightened One”, with an open heart to the Truth emanated by that One.
